Busbar for Mini Current Transformer

Busbar for Mini Current Transformer
Many of our mini current transformers have built-in busbars, which serve as the primary conductors. We can provide a variety of CTs with busbars of different shapes, structures, materials and finishs.
Shape & Structure
- U shape with two through-holes
- U shape with grooves
- U shape rod
- I shape with two holes
- Removable busbar
The most common type is U shape busbar with two holes for screwing. Considering the mounting space is usually limited, the two terminals of the busbar may not straightly extended.

In some cicumstances, we may design busbar with grooves instead of mounting holes. The grooves can be fixed by screwing after inserting the meter case enclosure. Sometimes, the busbar is mere a U-shape copper rod which is very easy to manufacture.
Material
- Brass (H59 or H62)
- Copper (T2 or T3)
- Heat-shrink sleeve
- Fiber-glass tube
Copper is the most popular, while some customers may choose brass which have lower price. Heat-shrink sleeve or fiber-glass tube can be put on the center of the busbar, for preventing the short-circuit between secondary and primary current.
Finish
- Degreasing & anti-tarnishing treatment
- Nickel plating
- Tin Plating
